Our club and all sessions are run by volunteers, giving a great opportunity for people with a variety of skills to get involved. 

Current volunteer opportunities 


Previously known as Level 2 Instructors. We have space for more coaches to lead evening sessions and courses, from both Scouts and Girlguiding. More info from British Canoeing - Coach Award

Paddlesport Instructors

Previously known as Level 1 Instructors.  We have spaces for more instructors to support our coaches with evening sessions and course.   More info from British Paddlesport Instructor Introduction or Award

Paddleboard Instructors

We are looking to expand the clubs paddleboard fleet and require instructors to support our coaches on evening sessions, from both Scouts and Girlguiding. Current British Canoeing offer coaches and instructors  an add on course.  A specific paddleboard qulification can be had through British Stand Up Paddleboard Association.  More info from British Canoeing - Paddleboard Instructor and British Stand Up Paddleboard Association (BSUPA)

Booking Secretary

Guide Chairperson

Our vital link between Girlguiding and the canoe club. This role sits alongside our Scout Chairperson and together they help the canoe club run smoothly. Read more about this role  Guide Chairperson
